Initiatives
Each year, Goodman BSA and its subsidiaries participate in community initiatives to help raise awareness and funds for a wide range of charity/non-profit organizations in Niagara.
Gillian's Place
On October 4th, the Goodman Business Students Association hosted its annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event to raise awareness about domestic violence and support Gillian’s Place, a local shelter providing essential services to women in need. Participants walked a mile in high heels to highlight the challenges faced by survivors and encourage community involvement.
Community Care Food Drive
Students came together to support Community Care by donating non-perishable food items, helping to provide essential resources to individuals and families in need.
Movember
Our BSA Executives took part in Movember to raise awareness for men’s health issues, championing the importance of mental health, cancer prevention, and overall well-being. Through this initiative, we’re proud to support critical conversations and encourage positive change.
CABS 5-Days
5 Days is a national campaign run by the Canadian Association of Business Students that strives to raise awareness and donations for members of society that are at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
